The TP-Link hub and satellites replaced a Nighthawk system that failed. Nighthawk's setup was a little arcane. The TP-Link units were interchangeable, which means there is no designated hub, which makes the system more resilient and less likely to go down *********%=continued WiFi for security systems and WiFi enabled devices. Installation was intuitive and nearly automatic. Coverage is excellent, it even supports a camera on a remote building (approximately *********' away from the closest satellite). Price was fantastic, approximately 50% lower. Design is smart, simple light colored cylinder, easily blends into all locations.

Let's be honest—setting this up was a little like trying to teach my dog to use an iPad. Confusing at first, but eventually we figured it out and now everything runs smoothly. Once you get past the mildly chaotic setup, the TP-Link Deco is a rockstar. Signal all over the house, even in that weird corner where Wi-Fi used to go to die. No more buffering during Zoom calls or late-night YouTube rabbit holes. If setup was smoother, I'd propose to it. But for now, I'll settle for solid internet and only mild tech-related panic.
