Taylor Adjustable Bimini Support Poles 28" to 48" with 7/8" Jaw Slides and Deck Hinge:
  • Keep your Bimini top off the gunwales with a pair of support poles
  • Designed to replace the rear straps and keep your top up and out of the way
  • 2 jaw slides: 0.875"
  • Include deck hinges to hold them securely in place
  • These poles should never be used to replace the front support straps
  • Only the rear straps should be replaced with adjustable support poles
  • Do not exceed 35 mph while using these 28" to 48" adjustable Bimini top support poles

I wish the mounting hardware was made out stainless steel vs high impact plastic. I will be impressed IF it last beyond 2 or 3 summer boating seasons.

Bimini top solution

Easy installation. Perfect for my needs of keeping bimini top elevated when not in use and stabilizes the top when in use. If the durability of poles stands up over time this is a viable solution at reasonable cost. My top is heavy so this is my only concern.
