I have had bad experiences in the past with clipping my dog's nails and it gives me such bad panic attacks but I use these really sturdy doggie nail clippers, and after I use the electric filer which turned out great. My dog was calm and I didn't feel so anxious about it anymore after the first day I am confident that I will always use these from now on. Was pleasantly surprised at the quality. Also, didn't expect the light to be as helpful as it is. I had searched out several places selling the pet nail clippers. Two chosen clippers were nice but super expensive. Didn't really see the value worth for the dollars charged. I gave up nothing by choosing this clipper over the really expensive ones.
