This was very easy to put together. It comes with tools but I would get your own because the tool it came with ended up not turning all the way due to the leg being there and it scratched the wood. Besides that this couch is super comfortable, cute, a perfect size for my studio apartment. I sit and lay on it and it fits me perfectly (im 5'2)
