Love these Bunk Beds!

Just wow! Very impressive bunk bed. Great experience putting it together and the quality so far is 10/10. We went for the natural pine color and it did come out a little bit darker, but I was aware of that based on other reviews and I’m totally happy. We love it and so do the kids. Jump on this if you have been on the fence!

Nice bed, good value

We built side-by-side twin beds in the "pine" finish. The directions are easy to follow, though for side by side beds you need to look ahead and put one tall headboard and one short headboard on each bed. (The directions actually want you to build the bed as if it were going to be stacked and then unassemble the headboard/footboard and swap a tall for short on each bed.) All the pieces are numbered with stickers so it's easy to find parts. You will want to add a thin piece of plywood over the slats and under each mattress. Otherwise there is nowhere to tuck the sheets - the tucked ends would just fall through the slats. You can finish the plywood to match the bed with stain, if desired. The bedspreads/shams in the photo are also from Walmart - Mainstays "Fishing Adventure" bed in a bag.

great! preferred over cheap metal

the solid wood is heavy, feels solid when out together. took about 2 hours to assemble mostly alone (you will need help to get the top bunk up after they are assembled), if you had some help it could get some faster. doesn’t require a power drill but i highly recommend one with a hex/allen bit to drill in the screws. it comes with a little L allen key to assemble and that would take FOREVER i ordered mainstays innerspring mattresses to go with it and they are perfect. my girlfriend can lay in bed with our daughter no problem and the 9 year old loves the top bunk
