UNDISPUTED BEST CLASSICAL GUITAR CAPO

Bought this and a G7th performance 2, as they were both rated highest amongst multiple review sites as top choices for CLASSICAL GUITARS, which have much wider necks/nuts. Having owned all the biggest name brand capos over the years, from my first shub [no where near wide enough] to this D'Addario, I will say for once, the reviews were spot on. I prefer this over the G7th, as the thumbscrew seems to dial in the right pressure easier than trusting hand pressure of G7, and I can dial it back slightly if needed, instead of having to release completely and start over. The ONLY two brand models I am aware of SPECIFICALLY made for classical guitars! NOTE G7 performance 3 is not as wide, and therefore NOT an improvement. D'Addario is 1/3 the price, lighter, smaller, less obtrusive profile, better for fine tuning, and therefore my top pick...

A well-built guitar capo

The D'Addario Classical Pro Capo is not as quick to take on and off as some capos, but speedy enough for me. A few quick twists on the adjustment dial is all it takes. It's well-constructed with solid aluminum and a firm rubber strip to tighten down across the strings. It is also unobtrusive (no levers sticking out from the top or bottom) and does not interfere with my left hand; also easily covers all the strings on the wide classical neck. I have a radiused D'Addario capo for a steel string guitar which I have used for many years with no problems, so expect this one to last for a long time. I've used a few other capos but still prefer the D'Addario brand. Highly recommended.
