Tough and sturdy even with a heavy music notebook.

Manhasset music stands are well made and sturdy. They are stable and hold their height adjustment even with a heavy notebook of music on the desk. This is the second Manhasset stand that I have purchased - to play duets. These stands are a great investment that will last decades.

Crafted in the US is a huge plus for me. The stand is very easy to assemble and was made to take the abuse of band kids. I learned music in band with one of the. my only negative thought is there is now one piece of the head that is now plastic. This will eventually be a weak spot.

Have used Manhassett stands my whole life. They have always been sturdy and last forever. Very easy to put together too! And I appreciate that they are USA made. I am a Walmart associate, but not in a related field to this product.
