Better Homes and Gardens Cooking: Biggest Book of Slow Cooker Recipes (Other)

Recipes for everything from snacks to dessert. Amazing what you can do in a crock pot!! Gave this to my daughter for Christmas, but photo copied some pages out of it first! Couldn't resist.

I purchased this cookbook expecting some really great recipes. There are only about 5 recipes that I would actually be interested in trying. It seems to me also that some of the ingredients listed in the recipes aren't ones that you would normally see in the store. They are ones that you would have to go "in search of" to even find to make the dish. I don't know about you, but with a busy schedule, the last thing I want to be doing is combing the store for hard to find ingredients and increasing the time I spend at the grocery store. If I would have been looking at the book in the store instead of buying online, I would have put the book back. The other part that I found interesting was that this is not a recipe book exclusively of crockpot recipes. There is a bit of a mix in there. This was also a bit disappointing to me as I purchased the book for exclusive crockpot recipes. I had considered looking this one over and perhaps purchasing the second cookbook in this series. However, I will not be doing that after reading the first one.
