After a long search this tray is exactly what my husband with Parkinsons needed to eat in front of the tv. The design of the part where his feet goes works good because he does not have to try to slide it under his recliner. I'm not sure other designs would have worked. It's also high enough that he can eat without dropping his food in his lap or on the floor. It's les stressful for him as he eats and I don't have a mess to clean up under his tray. I would recommend this tray for those that like to eat in front of the tv.

This table is light, easy to carry from one room to another. I use it as an eating table while watching tv and as a food prep table in the kitchen so I don't have to stand and a craft table. It allows me to be more independent in spite of my mobility issues.
