I've worn my Torin 8's for about 100 miles running on the road. These are my first Altras. At first I was concerned about the wide toe box but I love them. The toe box is wide but my feet are not sliding around. After running a half marathon in them, I had no discomfort at all. The break in period was minimal and I was taking them out for 3-5 mile runs straight out of the box. Great running shoes.
