Gymusclo Leg Curl Leg Extension Machine, Detachable Leg Developer Attachment for Adjustable Weight Bench, Fits 1" & 2" Weight Plates

I was building out my home gym and wanted a leg curl/extension machine but didn't have the floorspace for a standalone unit, so when I stumbled across this, I jumped at the chance to purchase it. Unfortunately, I found that this item is truly worthless for any sort of leg workout you may attempt. The one good thing I can say about the machine is that it's sturdy. The build quality felt solid right out of the box. As far as use goes, the design team completely failed to create a product that actually works. I'm 5'10" and about 180 lbs and I have long legs. When performing the leg extensions, I fully extended the pads you push on and they still barely made it halfway down my shins. On the lying leg curl, I brought the pads for the exercise in as close as the mechanism allowed and I would have still needed another 4 inches of leg to curl through the motion without the pad popping over my heels as I approached the top. What's especially frustrating is it seems the design team only offered solutions in the opposite direction to the problems I found - the leg extension allowed you to shorten the fulcrum when it's clear more length was needed; the leg curl allowed you to lengthen the fulcrum when it needed to be shortened; and the unit's base (which does sit neatly with the feet of a bench) allows you to extend the main body away, which is completely useless because it also takes the pads that sit overtop of/underneath you knees depending on the exercise further away so you get zero leverage. Lastly, to add insult to injury, the QR codes provided for the product took me to a completely unrelated product build video. If I could give this zero stars, I would. Truly a waste of money. Avoid at costs.
