Whimsy — that's exactly what this rug is! This is the second rug I've gotten to complement the cat pattern runner I already have. I think they may be from different companies, but the patterns are similar that they look like they were made to go together. I just love looking down and seeing these sweet little dogs frolicking among the flowers, birds, bows and mushrooms. And apparently my cats approve too, because they like lounging on it! It's really soft and cozy but has a very low pile, so there's no bulky edge to trip over. It came folded but straightened out quickly and absolutely no odor. The quality is surprisingly good for the price and it has that soft faux wool (microfiber) feel while still being lightweight and easy to move. It's machine washable, which is a huge plus, especially with pets! It's so soft. The kids love it. The rubber backing is another feature I really like. It has a clear, grippy backing that keeps it from sliding around on tile floors, so I don't need an additional rug pad. Between the playful design, softness, washable construction and low profile, this is just a happy little rug that adds so much fun to a room!
