Westinghouse WGen10500TFc Review

Overall, I'm happy with the generator so far. It starts easily with the pull cord, and I like the flexibility of having a tri-fuel generator for emergencies. The main downside I've experienced is that the electric push-button start hasn't worked properly. The battery appears to have arrived low, so I'm troubleshooting that issue. Other than that, it seems like a solid option for hurricane preparedness and keeping essential appliances running during a power outage. I'll update my review after I get the electric start working reliably.

Backup power

installed as backup generator. Works well or what I purchased it for. Only con is the remote start will not sync up to generator. Called tech on number supplied in instruction. Tech was clueless. Read from screen. Sent out another fob which does not work. Tech support is very poor. Makes me apprehensive about westinghouse and the warranty. Did I waste money on extra warranty?
