The Dell SE2717HX has an OK image out of the box but after calibrating the display it really looks good. The stand that comes with the monitor will only allow a tilt adjustment but no height or swivel adjustments. If you need these adjustments Dell makes a pro model that will provide them and USB options for a much higher cost or you can buy another stand for this model. I did not need to have the additional adjustments so this model worked out fine for me. There are (2) models available the Dell SE2717HX and the Dell SE2717H. The difference is the video cord that comes in the box. The Dell SE2717HX comes with a HDMI cord and the Dell SE2717H comes with a analog VGA cord. Both models have a HDMI input and a VGA input on rear. Both models will display a 1920x1080 resolution or lower but will not display a higher resolution. You have to go digging deep into the Windows 7 menu to get to the calibration settings but once calibrated this Dell monitor will not disappoint. You will need to have the monitor set to standard preset mode which puts monitor in its default settings before beginning calibration. There are (4) buttons on lower right hand corner of display that will let you make your adjustments. Here are the steps to access the calibration process in Windows 7 which is what I currently use. Windows 8 or 10 may be slightly different. 1-Control panel 2-Appearance and personalization 3-Adjust screen resolution 4-What display settings should I choose 5-Scroll down to Calibrate your display 6-Click on 2nd calibrate your display 7-Click on Click to open Display Color Calibration 8- Click on next 9-Click on next again 10-Follow instructions and prompts to calibrate your display Walmart had this Dell SE2717HX at a great sale price so I'm real glad I got it.
