This wrap is very large and stretchy The hem is a simple whip stitch which gives with the stretch well The material is quite thin tho, I doubt it would add warmth if one relied on it. The gray one kinda looks like sweatshirt gray with no ribbing as described. I would recommend this as a fashion accessory but no more than that.

The heather grey item I received was not "ribbed" FYI. No matter, it's a soft and drapey rectangle that can be worn multiple ways. The grey makes it seem very casual. Darker colors are probably more versatile. As a coverup for plane, bus, train or car rides this seems like it would be perfect. Takes up no space in a carry on or backpack.
