To my surprise, it was just about the same as the packets! As soon as I opened it the cheesy aroma hit my nose. Once it was prepared and paired with my dinner it had a decent texture and the broccoli pieces give it a fresh flavor that pairs well with the creamy cheddar. What I love about these rice bowls is the convenience. For dinner I sometimes take my time and plan it ahead. Other times I'm rushing through it and when it's one of those day I need something easy but delicious for my family and I. So this option is convenient without sacrificing taste. And the single serving is so perfect so that there is portion control and food doesn't go to waste.
