MuroPanel Interlocking Jigsaw Acoustic Wood Slat Wall Tiles 4-Pack 24"x24", 3D Wall Panels, Wood Gray

These are super cuter than in the picture online. And they are very good quality of material. Directions were super easy to follow.

I ordered these MuroPanel Interlocking Jigsaw Acoustic Wall Tiles in the Caramel finish after having experience with the same puzzle-style panels in the wood-gray color, and I actually prefer this colorway quite a bit. The warmer brown tone gives the panels a more classic, substantial, and expensive-looking appearance. I think the caramel finish makes the jigsaw design feel especially decorative rather than simply looking like acoustic treatment. The set comes with four 24"x24" panels, so they provide a decent amount of coverage individually, although you'll want to check the measurements and plan accordingly if you're trying to cover a larger wall. The design itself is very appealing. I like the way the interlocking puzzle pieces create an unusual geometric pattern while still looking cohesive. They're much more visually interesting than having a plain black acoustic panel on the wall, and I think this particular color would work especially well with warm or neutral décor. My main reservation is still the finishing quality. There were quite a few minor imperfections from the carving and manufacturing process. Some of the exterior edges of the wooden puzzle pieces were uneven, and some of the grooves and cut sides weren't perfectly straight or smooth. There was also leftover wood-shaving debris from the carving process that hadn't been cleaned off before packaging. None of these issues make the panels unusable, but they are noticeable when examining them up close and keep the product from feeling truly premium. The backing is the same black acoustic material used on the other versions I've tried. It provides some sound absorption, although I would consider the acoustic benefit modest rather than professional-grade. For me, it's more of a combination of decorative treatment and a little extra sound dampening than a serious soundproofing solution. Overall, I really like these panels, especially in the Caramel finish. The color makes them look more expensive and refined than I expected, and the jigsaw pattern gives them a lot of personality. The craftsmanship could still use better quality control around the carved edges and a little more cleanup after manufacturing, but the design and appearance make these a worthwhile option if you're looking for something decorative that also provides some acoustic benefit.
