Key item features

  • Massive Output with Musical Refinement. Force-Balanced Dual Opposing Active 9-inch Drivers. The beating heart of the 3000 Micro R|Evolution is a pair of active, side-firing 9-inch high-excursion drivers custom-built by the SVS design team to maximize output from a small enclosure. The drivers operate in perfect unison, acoustically and electrically in parallel to generate powerful, controlled low frequencies. By firing in opposite directions, mechanical forces are canceled, creating a sonically inert cabinet and eliminating unwanted vibration, one of the biggest limitations of compact subwoofers. What you hear is pure sonic output without a trace of distortion. Each high-excursion active 9-inch driver employs a progressive inverted surround to ensure maximum linear displacement. This is imperative for moving massive amounts of air and generating sound pressure levels you can feel at the deepest frequencies from such a small enclosure.
  • Power with Precision. Reference SVS R|Evolution Amplifier Platform. Conservatively rated at 1,200 watts Continuous and 4,000+ watts Peak power, the SVS R|Evolution amplifier maximizes the full potential of the dual 9-inch active drivers with effortless power and absolute control. The pioneering design combines the efficiency of a Class D amplifier with the ability to move massive current through fully discrete MOSFETs, delivering outstanding real-world subwoofer performance at all drive levels. High Current MOSFET Output with Class-D Efficiency allows the STA-1200D2 amplifier to move massive amounts of current through the fully discrete MOSFETs, enabling the dual active 9” drivers to fully maximize on their potential with reference output, while maintaining control and accuracy. Performance Enhancing SVS Switch Mode Power Supply maximizes system performance under all operating conditions by ensuring a consistent 160V rail voltage for the amplifier. Digital monitoring of the AC input mains voltage tunes the power supply for optimal performance in any environment. Premium Grade 56bit Digital Audio Processing and premium DACs (Digital-to-Analog Converters) provide greater headroom, lower noise, and flawless fidelity. Balanced XLR Input for pristine audiophile performance and long-distance cable runs. Compatible with consumer and pro audio systems.
  • The Brains Behind the Brawn. 295 MHz Analog Devices DSP. Orchestrating the cutting-edge amplifier, motor, and driver ecosystem is the most powerful and sophisticated DSP ever deployed in a home audio subwoofer, with five times the processing power of previous generations. DSP plays a role in all aspects of performance, user control, tuning, and in making the 3000 Micro R|Evolution subwoofer sound bigger than it is. SVS engineers painstakingly crafted an in-room frequency response curve that fully maximizes the potential of a room's boundaries to produce greater output and deeper bass extension without distortion or boominess. Accurately shapes in-room frequency response with absolute precision for faithful signal reproduction and acoustically tuned room gain. Monitors every function of the amplifier to stabilize AC voltage delivery to the power supply to maintain consistent peak output. Multi-point thermal, voltage, and current monitoring systems ensure maximum output and efficiency. Advanced digital audio processing and DACs (Digital-to-Analog Converters) with 120 dB Signal-to-Noise Ratio provide greater headroom, lower noise, and pristine fidelity
  • Frequency Response: 20-230Hz +- 3 dB
  • SVS Subwoofer Smartphone Control App Convenient subwoofer tuning and control from the comfort of your favorite seat. Works via Bluetooth with Apple iOS, Google Android, and Amazon Fire platforms. Controls for volume, low pass filter, phase, polarity, six parametric equalizers, room gain compensation, tuning modes, power management settings, and more. Three memory presets to save system settings matched to your listening preferences - music, movies, night mode, and more. Variable Port Tuning modes with included port plugs enable customized frequency response curves for Standard and Sealed to allow tuning for maximum output or deep bass extension and transient speed.
  • Sonically Transparent Sealed Cabinet Design. Handsomely styled to complement the finest home theater and HiFi systems yet compact enough to place out of sight. Acoustically optimized to render big sound from a small enclosure, the 3000 Micro R|Evolution sealed cabinet is rigidly braced and sonically inert for uncompromised performance. Rigid MDF front baffle and internal support massive drive unit and ensure an acoustically inert environment. Highly reinforced internal design and acoustic insulation eliminateall coloration or resonance from the cabinet at all playback levels. Protective non-resonant perforated metal grilles shield drivers to prevent damage while ensuring longevity. Custom elastomer feet reduce noise artifacts within a room. Rear Panel OLED and Control Interface provide fast and direct control of the most important features. Includes a convenient “Display Flip” function.
