needs a different vent

Don't much care for the vent system this tanks has allows pressure to build and when attaching the fuel line gasoline spews all over, the directions says to gently unscreww the cap, but if an unlevel situation or a rocking boat can still be messier then if it had the traditional vent cap.

Every thing I had wanted.

This tank was exactly what I wanted. It's published dimensions were accurate, and the tank fit in a small space I had available. When filled to the max level, the cap seals tightly, the Atwood non-spray fitting that I installed sealed the fuel line outlet, and the tank can be easily carried by it's handle like a small suit case. It can be set down on a flat surface with the handle up with no fuel spillage until ready to lay flat. I use this tank to supply a fuel line running to a Honda 2000w gen so as to greatly extend the run time before refueling. The cap has no pressure release valve; to vent, you simply loosen the cap a couple turns after laying the tank flat.

Get a better one

This tank does not have a vented cap, pressure builds up inside and fuel leaks around the fuel fitting where it enters the tank.
