I bought the stool because I'm 5 ft 1 and I need hydraulics to put me in an ergonomic position at my standard height desk. it's very cute, seems well made but sadly, that little round seat is not comfortable. It's small and has no cushion. If you are short and very slim, this might be more comfortable. for now, I'm using a pillow on top of the seat ( which then prevents the backrest from supporting my back at all), and a stool to support my feet so that I can work ergonomically.
