Great Product at Great Price. Needed a replacement Dehumidifier for my large musty basement and after reading Walmart Reviews decided to try this new full featured model from KNKA. It was shipped quickly and was well packed. The built in carrying handle made it easy to take to the basement and then rolled it into place. I ran it without the included drainage hose for the night and found the 1 gallon bucket totally full and the unit switched off automatically. Emptied the bucket, installed the hose and drained it into my sump. The unit is very quiet and would work in your living area or bedroom. The control panel allows you to turn off the lights and has a sleep timer. The front panel lights will turn colors to match the humidity level so at a glance you can get a working status. Will see how it works over time but so far, very impressed. It is Energy Star rated so it will help with my electricity bill also.

I have never owned a dehumidifier, so I have nothing to compare it to... With that being said, I have been running this in my home, non-stop. It is on the Auto setting, which is supposed to sim for 50% humidity level. I have seen it hit that level for a few moments, a couple times, but only for a minute. It usually stays around 52-54%. It takes about 4 hours, to fill the tank. When removing the tank, if full and at shut off, it is hard to take it to the sink, without spilling. Now I dump sooner, so that it doesn't reach the max level. I don't think that it is too noisy or big etc. Easy to use and set up. Can certainly tell a difference, when walking in from outside.
