Key item features

  • 100% COTTON TERRY CLOTH SURF PONCHO, NOT SYNTHETIC: If you have owned a microfiber poncho that pushed water around instead of soaking it up, this is the difference. This adult changing robe is woven from 100% cotton terry cloth, the same looped-pile fabric as a bath towel, so it genuinely absorbs and breathes instead of trapping heat while you change. Cotton is why this towel poncho costs more than a polyester one, and why it works.
  • TWO SIZES – CHOOSE BY HEIGHT, NOT YOUR SHIRT SIZE: Small-Medium fits 5'5"–5'11" (165–180 cm). Large-X-Large fits 6'0"–6'5" (181–195 cm). Garment flat measurements: S-M is 40 in long, 29 in chest, 10 in sleeve; L-XL is 43 in long, 31 in chest, 11 in sleeve. Both are cut deliberately roomy so you can change underneath, so they run generous — if you are between sizes, choose the smaller. Under 5'5"? See our Allen & Mate Kids Towel Poncho (10–13 years).
  • ADULT CHANGING PONCHO FOR WETSUITS AND SWIMWEAR: Pull this hooded towel poncho on over your head and you have a private changing room anywhere — a parking lot, the beach, the poolside or a riverbank. The 3/4 sleeves and loose body give you room to work a wetsuit down, and it hangs loose on purpose so it stays put with your hands free. Made for surfers, open-water swimmers, cold-water dippers, paddleboarders and kayakers.
  • LARGE HOOD AND A DEEP SIDE POCKET: The generous hood of this wearable towel pulls right over wet hair and keeps drying it on the walk back to the car, while blocking wind, rain and sun on the way. The single side pocket is deep enough for a phone, keys or a car fob, so you are not setting them down on wet sand. These are the details that matter on a gray, windy morning after a cold dip.
  • MACHINE WASHABLE, PACKS FLAT, AND A GIFT PEOPLE ACTUALLY USE: Machine wash warm with similar colors and tumble dry low. Like any new cotton towel this poncho towel sheds a little lint over the first two or three washes, so wash it on its own to begin with. It folds flat into a beach bag or a trunk, and it is the sort of present a surfer, a swimmer or a swim-club parent keeps reaching for, at birthdays, Christmas, Father's Day or Mother's Day.

smart design, very practical, nice quality

Very smart idea, and very useful and practical, especially if you go to the beach or community pool often like I do. It had a strong and unpleasant odor when it first got out of the package tho, so just wash it before you use it. nice quality and very absorbant.

Great idea!

Perfect towel robe for the beach or pool. The hood is an added bonus to dry wet hair. Love the pocket, just wish there was two.
