I have extremely dry body skin that is flaky and rough. Sexy, right? I use a myriad of products based on the direction of my dermatologist. However, my derm advised me that they will not work effectively unless I get rid of the dead skin. I'm always looking for ways to exfoliate my skin with visible results. These sponges are the bomb. This is my routine: ~In the shower, I wash my hair, add conditioner, clip up, and add a shower cap. ~By now my body should be wet all over. Turn the shower off. ~Using no soap, I rub the sponge up and down, side to side, in a circular motion all over my body. As I see the dead skin, I rinse that area and the sponge and squeeze out the extra water in the sponge. ~Next, I shower with soap and a washcloth and rinse my hair. ~I towel off quickly and start using the lotions and potions to moisturize and protect my skin. They absorb really well after exfoliating. Voila, lovely smooth skin!
