This Kinder's Garlic & Herb Broccoli Florets frozen dish is a convenient option for a rich tasting vegetable dish. I would describe the flavor along the lines of garlic bread and because the flavor pouch is separate it gives flexibility with the seasoning versus if it was already added. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I don't actually own an air fryer, even though the packaging insisted that was the way to go for 14 minutes. Instead, I took a gamble and cooked this on the stovetop-and I am so glad I did! The Preparation Since air frying wasn't an option, I tossed the broccoli florets into a saucepan with a little olive oil. While the broccoli was cooking, I prepped the sauce packet by letting it thaw in a bowl of warm water for about 5 to 10 minutes. The instructions might be rigid, but this method was incredibly easy and worked like a charm. Portion Size The package contains a little over a cup of broccoli florets. It's a perfect, neat little side portion that easily feeds two people without any wasteful leftovers. Taste and Appearance The final results were fantastic. The broccoli retained a beautiful, fresh, vibrant green color and didn't get mushy on the stove. But the real star of the show is the sauce. Pouring that "liquid gold" over the greens absolutely made the dish. It has a rich, deeply satisfying buttery flavor that compliments the fresh broccoli perfectly. The Verdict You don't need fancy appliances to make this taste great. It's a quick, vibrant, and delicious side dish that I will definitely be making again. Highly recommended!
