I bought the purple for dorm shower shoes for my daughter. The color and style are perfect with lots of drainage holes. The shoes are soft and comfortable. The light purple is so pretty. I'm so bummed I misunderstood the sizing chart. Because size 40 info is the same on the men's and women's chart, I took a chance betting that the US sizes shown on both charts for 40 were for men, not women. I chose incorrectly. The purple shoes essentially stop at size 40 which is correctly reflected on the WOMEN's chart as US women's size 7.5-8.5. Daughter wears a US women's 9.5-10.5 which would likely be the 42. Unfortunately the purple isn't made larger than a 40. I'm giving 4 stars bc the sizing chart was not crystal clear and the shoes have a pretty bad chemical odor. I'm thinking it would dissipate after time but please note if you're sensitive to smells. I'd recommend if you are a woman and your foot is a US 8.5 (or maybe Euro 39) or smaller. They are really cute but won't work for my daughter.
