Needs a little tweaking, then fine

Wasn't expecting much. I received the fountain late in the day, not much daylight left. I gave it a try anyway. It powered right up and started squirting water in my bird bath. If you experience difficulties, try deeper water. The pump needs space to prime itself. Another trick is to change the nozzle. Some worked well, others failed. Just switch it up and I think you'll get your's working.

Good value.

We are happy with this inexpensive fountain. Our bird waterer is only 12" across so the attachments threw the water over the sides. We solved the problem by leaving off any of the attachments and it lightly bubbles enough to attract the birds. Within a few days many varieties were getting a drink. It works well in full sun. It seemed straightforward to assemble. We cut the plastic straws used to center it in the dish to fit our 12" dish.
