These are decent knives for the price. They are sharp and cut through paper. Are they $200 knives? No. But they get the job done. They feel durable and sharp enough to cut through whatever you need to cut through. The "knife block" is very convenient. You're able to place your knives wherever you want, then the scissors have their own slot. The kitchen scissors are nice and kind of heavy duty too. They wash and dry well in the sink. I also like that the knife block isn't huge so you're able to place is almost anywhere in your kitchen without taking up a bunch of counter space.

Impressive Chef's Knife Set

This is an elegant looking Knife block with 6 black bladed knives (each one is labeled with its particular function), and a pair of kitchen scissors. The Chef knives are sharp and feel comfortable in my hand. The knife block itself looks very nice with its fluted exterior. The interior has wavy sections where you insert the knives for storage. The knives are German high carbon stainless steel with a fine edge, they are non-stick with a rust resistant coating and also dishwasher safe. They cut and slice nicely and make it easy to prepare your food. Using the knife block saves counter space.
