These are nice! I loved jumping rope when I was young and lately my husband and I have been wanting to workout more. We want a variety of things to do so we won't get burnt out on doing the same thing every day. So I had to order these when I seen them. They have nice padded handles. They are cables wrapped in a rubber/smooth layer. You can cut them to adjust the size, if needed. They are not heavy and oh my goodness they move so smoothly! The bearings help the rope glide so easily in the handles. It's gonna take some getting use to since I haven't jumped rope in many years but it was fun trying them out and they'll be a nice addition to our workouts. I love them. Highly recommend.

I really like the soft and very light handles, they feel great in my hands and have a little space between the soft grips to allow some air to pass through and keep my hands cooler. The rope part is actual steel cable wrapped in plastic, which is very nice. I was much concerned about jump ropes wearing out in rapid succession if I used them on a concrete surface. These should last a decent amount of time.The actual ball bearings in the end make for a very smooth turn of the rope which really adds to the quality of this jump rope set. I like that the handles screw off so that I can simply swap the handles and have my favorite color on a new rope which will increase the overall value for me on this product. The rope is plenty long for me at six foot tall and should be ample for just about anyone.
