I recently had hip replacement surgery, and it was very difficult getting into bed, as my bed is a bit high. I purchased 2 of these; one I use by my bed and 1 for in front of my kitchen chair. The height was perfect to assist me into getting in my bed and it helps while sitting at the kitchen table as it raises my legs just enough to take the strain off my hip and back. I love them.

This stool is very sturdy and it's well worth the money. I brought it for my high bed and standing or bouncing on it shows it's durable and doesn't dip when my 5'10 foot 250 lb frame gets on it.
