I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. Great trash can. I only wish I had caught that it needs four D batteries. I wasn't quite prepared to try it out when it arrived but a quick run to the store fixed it! The trash can works great and I appreciate the power switch on the back that I can use to shut it off when my children confuse it for a toy.

Many of my friends have these motion sensored trash cans, and I was always a little envious. They looked to sleek and easy. Finally, I received this trash can and I'm thrilled to have it. (I mean— as thrilled as you can be with something like a trash bin). The product came packaged very well so that there was absolutely no damage. I was taken aback to discover the unit uses C batteries. Who uses C batteries any more now that we don't have boom boxes to carry around with us? But off to the store I went and purchased a 4-pack. I've been using the trash can for approximately a week now and have had not problems. The ring that holds the liner in place can be a bit fiddlely when taking out the trash, and you have to find somewhere to set that moving lid, but that's my only critique so far. Overall, it looks good, is a decent size and I'm happy to have it.
