I no longer have a dog or a cat. however, I like the concept of this motion sensor that'll open the garbage can. The motion lid sits kind of like a frame. I wish that actually locked down on the side so it's always attached and then you would have to unlock it from the side. I think a dog or a cat could still get into the trash can.
