Dimmer switch is built right into the power cord and comes with a lightbulb. The power cord is 2 prong, which is helpful because my electrical outlets are 2 prong only. White lamp has white cord. I'd love to get the darker color too. Somehow it's whimsical and classy at the same time. Since the top of the lamp is open, it could create a glare if the lamp is sitting below your sightline. Or switch out for a frosted bulb rather than clear that comes with it. Pictures are shown totally dimmed vs totally lit.
