This is not for even a 2 year old. We bought this for our granddaughter would is turning 3 she is a foot taller than it is. Not sure what size kid can actually play on this. Would not recommend

Advertising states that a child up to the age of 3 years old that can use this. The set is very small, narrow without a lot of room for kids to move around on. The stairs are too narrow to climb up one at a time as their feet don't sit properly on the stairs. My granddaughter is only 17 months old and she towers over the top which is unsafe if they try to lean over to use the basketball net. The telescope only moves side to side and not up and down so they almost have to sit on their bums to be able to look through it. The underside is too short and tight for climbing through. Plus side. It was easy to put together and is sturdy but is undersized for toddlers.
