Real Brass

Nice buckle. True solid brass. Minor issue in that the bar that grips the belt doesn't slide smoothly. Otherwise fine. Good looking, as expected.

Made in Taiwan

Considering the price, this buckle is about what I expected. It IS Solid Brass, as stated, but it seems to be thinner brass than what you'll find when you compare it to a genuine US Army issue Made in USA Solid Brass buckle. It sounds a little bit cheap when you rattle it. But it holds my pants up, and I won't care all that much if it gets beat up, as I figure I got what I paid for.
