Cat Door Latch 2 Pack, Adjustable Pet Door Stopper to Keep Dogs Out of Cat Litter Box and Food, Fits 2.5"-6" Wide Doors

I am incredibly impressed with these cat door latches. They are exactly what I was looking for to manage pet access throughout my home while maintaining climate control. Easy Installation These are remarkably easy to set up and take only seconds. You simply identify the width needed, and screw in the included hardware. The fish-shaped design hooks onto the door handle, and the tail clicks into the door frame where the lock goes. Versatile Functionality I am currently using both latches for different purposes, and they perform perfectly: Closet Access: I use one to keep a closet door open just enough to allow airflow—keeping the space from getting too hot or cold—while maintaining a gap narrow enough to keep my cat out. Bedroom Access: I use the second latch on my bedroom door to keep it slightly ajar overnight. This ensures my cat can come and go as she pleases, whereas without the latch, she would swing the door wide open constantly. Durability and Design The build quality is excellent. They are sturdy, hold up well, and have been in use for several weeks with no issues. While the fish design wouldn't have been my first personal choice, they are fun and undeniably functional. The adjustments are the perfect size for my needs, and it is quick and simple to change the width settings in just seconds. Overall, I am very pleased with the sturdiness and flexibility of these latches. They have made a noticeable difference in my home, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to solve pet access issues.

I was worried that the gap wouldn't be big enough to let my beautiful chubby boy in my room but the gap is a perfect fit. The plastic is thick and sturdy. Very easy to latch/ unlatch when coming in and leaving the room.
