I got this for my grandson to go with his new bike. The helmet fits well for a 4 year old and he felt comfortable wearing it. He tried the elbow %26 knee pads and these fit well too. He is on the small side so this should fit him for a year or two. The color is bright %26 great for a boy. There were no odd smells with this set either. Overall, a nice set.
