These are the perfect ankle jeans for 5'4 and under. The material has little stretch so I would definitely recommend sizing up one or two to get the loose feel that is currently trending. I am a true size 8 and ordered the 8 initially but the reordered the 10 for a more relaxed look. I think a 12 could even work.

I love the quality of Free Assembly clothing. Unfortunately, as of late the sizing has been off. I typically wear a 6 in Free Assembly, but lately the items I have purchased have run a size smaller. If I had read the reviews and what others had written about the jeans running small, I would have sized up.
