This cover is nice and soft, well made, and doesn't look cheap. Can't comment on whether or not it stays put as my 18 yr old dog can no longer get himself up on the sofa. I actually bought this as it never seems to fail that guests put their bare feet on my beautiful sofa (yuck!). Now I can simply throw it it the wash after they leave. It did arrive very creased from being folded in the packaging, but a 15 min run in the dryer took the majority of wrinkles out.
