Purchased these because I hunt in the south. My first impression is that they are very stiff. I know they should keep snakes out! I wish they had another 2 Velcro straps along the shin to help the one Velcro strap that is at the top of the boot. The zipper seems a little flimsy. It travels a long way with only the zipper holding the boot together. Again this is my first impression thoughts. I have to break them in so they might loosen up a bit. I do like the look and the weight of them.

i havent worn these boots other than to try them on as of yet.i will say the zippers are very stiff and got hung up ended up adding a little vasoline seemed to help free them up.i am sure they will break in just fine.
