The ‘glass patio kit' is good quality and easy to assemble and fit. The bonus I found when dealing with this business is the prompt, courteous and super helpful response to the minor issues I had when ordering from interstate. Great pet door but could do with improvements

This is a good-looking pet door, and I think the 2025 model is definitely a step up from the old one. It works well, but I wish it came with a proper vertical locking bar (preferably matching aluminum) that we could screw into the sliding door frame at the top and bottom, instead of the expandable one you have to use now, which isn't as nice. A built-in locking bar like that would look better and keep the pet door more secure when you slide the door open or closed. I'm also yet to work out how to adapt the existing locking mechanism with the pet door. I think I remember seeing it on the installation video I watched so will need to look at that again. Perhaps this could also be improved and simplified?
