At first I didn't think the speed was going to be enough but it surprised me because the amount of breeze after my room was cool after a half hour of being on oscillating mode and the fan is definitely quiet. The remote definitely comes in handy it blows pretty far in my room.

Lasko 36" tower fan works great.

This is the first tower fan I've bought it is really great. It's perfect for a small/medium size room. The air flow is really good on low or high (we keep it on low to medium), even on high it's not noisy like the fan we had before. It cost more then a regular stand fan but well wroth it. It doesn't take up a lot of space which is great for our apartment. So far it's working excellent for us. Love the remote control too!
