It got the job done. It's pretty small and will definitely go with a door that you need to cover with a curtain and insert a rod at the top and bottom. The rod is made of plastic. The ends are metal. I think I'm comparing it to the other magnetic rods I see in Walmart stores, normally. They were sturdier with a larger diameter metal rod. Since they were out of stock, I ordered online. I took another star off because you have to place the end of the rods a very particular way to stay on and it's not latched or anchored to stay on. I can see a small kid or pup being nosey, moving the curtain, and it pops out of the magnetic stand at the bottom…unless you stretch the curtain material and reverse the metal ends to point towards the ground…
