It's all made of plastic. That clear bowl is nice. You could actually see the water shooting out while spinning kinda like your washing machine on the spin cycle..lol. Didn't get to use the other piece's that slice. I did notice the gap in the slice attachments are very small. The only thing I think you can slice is probably cheese other than that we got it just for the spinner. It works like it's supposed to.
