These are the best ultra tampons on the market right now in my opinion. But there is often not a knot at the end of the string, which can make removal a challenge. Just remember to check it and knot it yourself before inserting. For some reason, the applicator on the ultra is sometimes more problematic than the regular ones which can lead to wasted tampons, which is annoying.

After having 3 kids I found the natural progression in life was for my uterus to hate me for not making 10 more. I thought super plus was where it ended for the Day 2 death flow (no worries it's only Day 2 where I die and then I'm fine and it's not every month) until I found out they make an Ultra tampon. Now, this is not for the faint of heart. This is for a well seasoned stretched out sock that can hold a pringles sized roll of cotton. The applicator is clear because the cost to make it the classic solid green would likely bankrupt them. If you're a mom with a serious flow, look no more. This will hold back the dam for a solid hour if not 2. When it's not my heaviest flow day this dude can easily last several hours if not a whole work day if you overshot your guessing game. With that said I'd still recommend only using this for an actual heavy flow since plugging one hole with this sausage will squish the other (aka the Backdoor). I'll forever keep a box of these ready on hand til the day my uterus dries up and dies or I have it surgically cut out and thrown in the garbage can. Thanks playtex!
