Handy double sided heat

I like the double sided heat plate but a little disappointed it doesn't "glow" when heated like shown in pics. It does have a little and bright flashlight on the top and choice of use of feet or hanging. Heard up quick and evenly and stays warm 20 min after shut off. Also not for use in damp environment so I won't be using for chicken house as planned but can use in brooder!

Keeps the chicks warm %26 happy!

This DUAL SIDED HEATING PLATE is a Godsend! It went from mid to high 60's to 20's with terrible wind chill conditions in 1 day. We had just bought some 6 Silkie Chickens %26 6 Bantams. Even though we have them in a coop, they were used to being in a barn with several other feathered friends %26 I was scared the cold might be too much for them. This plate worked great! It's so versatile. I love that I can use the Remote Control to turn on or adjust the temp settings. It's also easy %26 quick to assemble %26 clean. I like it so much I'll be ordering another just like it to help keep my COTURNIX QUAIL warm when I move them from the brooder to the coop in 3 weeks! Well worth the $$$
