These boots worked great for my 8 year old. We spent a week hiking different trails in Utah and my son never complained about his feet being sore or uncomfortable, he wore these boots every day. While other kids were slipping and falling on hiking trails, my son never slipped or lost his footing while wearing these boots. He loved that they were soft and fuzzy on the inside also.

These boots are honestly absolutely perfect for winter. They have a very soft faux fur lining inside and feel so warm and cozy. Bottoms are very well made and I am sure they won't be slippery at all. Overall quality of shoes is pretty high in my opinion. All the stitches are done well and sizing is correct.
