Revlon Just Bitten Lipstain + Balm 005 Passion: lipstain .09 Oz., balm .05 Oz.

This is my favorite lip product ever. It actually does *stain* your lips, which means that the color soaks in, yet dries to relative permanence very quickly. This is a *must* for my lips. With regular lipsticks or balms, I tend to keep rubbing my lips together, or licking them, and the lip color disappears entirely in less than an hour....often looking terrible as it wears away. If I eat something oily - boom, gone. And my lips are weird - the inner wet mucosa actually shows on my lips, unless I have them pressed together. But lipstick will not 'stick' to the mucosa, so the line between lipstick and natural inner lips becomes *very* visible. With this stain, and a reasonably 'natural' color, it brightens my lips nicely, without that vivid line of demarcation. And especially with the gloss over it to 'seal' it, this stuff lasts *forever*. I can actually keep color on my lips most of the day, this way, and it doesn't get 'eaten' off. It wears off *very* slowly, and also very evenly - it just fades gently, basically. I've been very disappointed lately - this product has become difficult to find in stores - both my local drug store, and my local WalMart. I grabbed some of what I thought were these JustBitten Lipstain + Balm, but instead, I got the JustBitten Kissable Balm Stain.....which is NOT AT ALL the same thing. They shouldn't put basically all the same words in the title - I thought it was just an updated packaging (no gloss end - not unusual, since I had previously purchased the CoverGirl version of this stain, also by accident because it looks quite similar, but again, no gloss, and not nearly as nice in either color, or texture). I will have to stock up on my favorite color online, it seems - because I never want to be without this product again! It's the *only* thing that works for my lips.

I love this, I use it every single day! With this, you don't need lip liner (I don't, anyway). It is very pigmented but at the same time it looks natural, & gives the appearance of fuller lips. It goes on quickly, easily, & evenly. It lasts all day. I put it on in the morning, & when I get back from working 8, 9, or sometimes 10 hours it still looks great after eating & drinking. In my opinion, it's a little pricey for a drug store brand; but that being said I think it's still worth it & I will continue to purchase it. :) The only thing I do recommend is also using a chap stick. In the morning I put it on with the balm that comes with it, & that works but I have very dry lips. - So during the day I'll apply Carmex on top of the stain. * I have a light ivory complexion, I use the color 'Instinct'.
