Safe, Contained Heater

Invested in this smaller, oil filled (radiator like) electric space heater. Cost was approx. $50. I like this style because it is totally contained. No or little risk of accidental fires. I have had the larger, full size version in the past. Overall, I like the concept and its ability to produce minimal heat. I do not have central heat. This is, however, a space heater, meaning it only helps in a set space, not an entire house. When I am in the kitchen, where I cook, eat, read, watch TV and scan my phone, I have it turned on and it produces enough heat to keep the frigid temps at bay when left on continually. I will say it rose the temp of the room by about 10 degrees. When we are talking about a room being 50 degrees and being able to get up to 60s degrees, that helps a lot. I stay wrapped up and use blankets as I watch TV. For the cost the effectiveness this heater suits me fine. It is a 110 plug and that is great too.

First thing I noticed was it does come with feet. They were shipped in the styrofoam on the bottom of the box, guess people are forgetting to unpack them. Otherwise the heater is great, easy to setup, easy to operate. Low wattage is great for old houses / old wires. No new burning smell like other units. Zero complaints

excellent sale price for a good piece of equipment. Hears up quickly and retains it for a while after you turn it off. Minor problem is the electric cord is connected under the fins instead of outside under the on/off dial. The auto shut off if tipped at certain angle does work. I do recommed it.
