Unit came KDF (unassembled) But was easy to assemble, did not require any tools (although the instructions did include a small screwdriver) Assembly took about 30 minutes, with easy to follow instructions. Backrest is far more comfortable than my previous MEDLINE unit. Well worth the money. Would recommend to anyone that needs a quality, not too expensive Walker.
