does its intended job.

I bought this battery box for a Series 24 LiFEPO4 50AH battery. At first I was going to buy a smart battery box but opted for something simpler (and less expensive). My main concern was whether or not the cables with a fuse holder would fit through the openings. I found there was no problem whatsoever.
